We are delighted to announce that the 56th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Psychoneuroendocrinology (ISPNE) will take place in Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg between September 2 and 5, 2026. The main theme is: Stress in Motion: From Signals to Society - Integrating Biological Processes, Sensors, and Living Systems.
Erlangen is located in northern Bavaria, approximately one hour north of Munich, and forms part of the Nürnberg metropolitan region. The area combines a strong academic tradition with access to the cultural and historical landscape of Franconia, including the medieval old town of Nuremberg, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bamberg, and the nearby natural landscapes of the Franconian Switzerland, known for its limestone hills, forests, and traditional villages. Erlangen is easily accessible via Nuremberg Airport (NUE), with connections through major European hubs such as Frankfurt (FRA), Munich (MUC), Paris (CDG), Amsterdam (AMS), and Istanbul (IST), and by Germany’s high-speed rail network, with travel times of approximately 20 minutes from Nuremberg, one hour from Munich, and two hours from Frankfurt.
